The Matthew 25 Mission has been indebted to Tesco over the recent Christmas and New Year period! As well as rounding-up some 16 succulent turkey breasts from local Tesco stores (which hugely enhanced the meals we were able to provide to many of Eastbourne's most vulnerable people over the Christmas period), Lucy - the Tesco Hampden Park Community Champion - also ran a book sale through the month of December, to raise funds for the Mission's work.
The picture shows Matthew 25 Administrator, Graham Horsnell, gratefully receiving a cheque for £136.38 - the sum raised by the Hampden Park store. "Thank you so much Lucy, and thank you Tesco!"
